Ansel Adams, a famous photographer as well as an environmentalist. He is one of the famous photographer of all time. His Black and White landscape photographs of the American West has made him famous. His photos were widely used in books, calendars and poster. One of the famous photo he took was the famous American landmark, the Yosemite National Park. He has also developed the Zone System. A system which determines the proper exposure and the adjustment of the contrast of the final print. This resulted the clarity and depth characterised in his photography. Adams would used large-format cameras for his photography as their high resolution helped ensure sharpness in his images.
I really love his Black-and-White landscape photography. I don't know how to describe it but i really do like it. It has that unique style in it. The place looks ordinary but with the corroect angle, exposure and lighting, he is able to capture those tiny details of the photo even though black and white photos will decreased the amount of details in it. I love landscape and nature photography. So, Ansel Adams have gave me a couple of inspiration and ideas in my upcoming projects.
